How To Create Your CVS Pharmacy Online Account

If you are a new user and want to use the CVS Pharmacy login portal, you will need create an online account with a username and a password to enable you access the portal.

Creating an account transforms CVS.com into myCVS. Along with a fully personalized experience, you’ll be able to manage your family’s prescriptions, enjoy full access to your ExtraCare Savings & Rewards, get exclusive email offers and much more — online and on the go.

You can easily create an account online on the Create account page. On the Create an Account page you will be asked to enter and confirm your email address (which will serve as your User ID) and choose a password.

Passwords must be between 8 and 64 characters, must include 1 number and 1 letter, can’t be any of your last 8 passwords and can’t be your username or easily guessed words, like ‘password’.

You will also be asked for other personal information necessary to set up your account. Once you complete this process, your account is set up. However, in order to view your prescription records and take advantage of all the online tools available to you, you will need to sign up for Prescription Management

As you set up your account, you can choose to:

  • Receive offer-filled CVS.com emails.
  • Attach your ExtraCare card to your account to earn rewards on online purchases and check your Savings & Rewards online.
  • Select Remember Me for a more personalized site experience.

Once you create your account, you can enhance it by:

  • Adding Prescription Management so that you can manage your prescriptions online.
  • Becoming an Rx Caregiver so you can manage your family’s prescriptions

CVS Pharmacy Login Steps

In order to access your ExtraCare account online, you will need to attach your ExtraCare card to your online account. Follow the steps below to sign in. Once signed in, click on ExtraCare at the top of the page. On the right you will see a link to Attach your Card Now.

After you have completed these steps you can update your account at any time. If you are unable to attach your card, or have related issues, please call (800) SHOP CVS (746-7287) and ask a representative to verify that they have your current ExtraCare information on file. If the information is not current, the representative will be happy to update it for you.

You have the opportunity to select Remember Me when you register an account or sign in to an existing account. When you opt in, you allow CVS.com to provide you with a more personalized experience. If you check Remember Me, they’ll:

  • Greet you by first name
  • Make it easier to sign in by pre-populating your username in the user field
  • Show the number of refills and ExtraCare deals you have available – even if you aren’t signed in
