Edfinancial Login: How To Manage Your Student Loan Account

If you’ve never used the Edfinancial Login portal before, you must register as a new user, even if you had an online account with your previous servicer. You will need to create an account if you:

  • have never logged into your student loan account(s) online.
  • have an account(s) that recently transferred from the Direct Loan Servicing Center to Edfinancial Services.
  • have an account(s) that recently transferred to our new student loan servicing system, and you are attempting to log into the new Manage My Account portal for the first time.

In today’s post, I will walk you through the necessary steps required to manage your student loan account on the “Manage My Account (MMA) online information and resource center for your student loan account.

Edfinancial Online Services

The Edfinancial Login Portal also know as “Manage My Account (MMA) portal presents an overview of your student loan account and a snapshot of each section, on the Login portal you will be able to access the following services:

  • Payments: view your next due date/amount due and payment history, make a payment, etc.
  • Repayment Planning: view your loan status and explore different repayment options
  • Loan Summary: view your current balance information
  • Profile: view/update your contact information, access your inbox, update payment profiles, etc.

How To Register for Manage My Account (MMA)

Before you gain authorized access to the Manage My Account (MMA) portal you must first have an online account on the portal. The registration process for Manage My Account is very brief and requires you to input your social security number and date of birth to create a secure online account.

The information you provide needs to be correct and match what they have on file for you, provided by your school. If you receive an error alert about an incorrect date of birth, social security number, or other information, call them at 1-855-337-6884.

How to Submit a Payoff Payment

After obtaining your payoff quote, the next step is to submit a payment to Edfinancial via one of the following methods:

Manage My Account

Log into MMA and select “Make A Payment” from the “Home” page to submit a one-time payment with your bank routing and account number.

  • You have the option to make a payment to pay your entire account in full, or you can pay off a specific loan group by expanding your loan details and entering the amount for the loan you wish to pay off.
  • Enter the payoff quote you received for the corresponding date and follow the steps to submit your payment.
  • If you are repaying your loan(s) via automatic debit, your payoff payment must post 3 business days prior to the next scheduled payment draft date in order to prevent the payment from being drafted.

Mail

You can mail a check or money order to our payment address to pay your account in full. Please ensure you include your account number and send it to the correct address to avoid delays in the processing of your payment.

If you are repaying your loan(s) via automatic debit, your payoff payment must post 3 business days prior to the next scheduled payment draft date in order to prevent the payment from being drafted.

Important: To avoid significant delays, it is very important to mail your payments to the correct address. Your payment mailing address may be different, depending on your loan program. Please check your billing statement, log into your online account, or contact them to get the correct payment mailing address for your loans.

Phone

Payoff payments can be submitted via phone by calling them at 1-855-337-6884 and choosing option 1.

If you are repaying your loan(s) via automatic debit, your payoff payment must post 3 business days prior to the next scheduled payment draft date in order to prevent the payment from being drafted.
