Why am I seeing a “Notice of Change message” advising my routing number and/or bank account numbers have been changed?
A notice of change is a notification that your bank account information has been changed. The change can pertain to an account number, a routing number, or an account type (checking/savings). A common example is when bank buyouts occur and the routing number must change to reflect the correct bank. The message will only appear after your financial institution has informed you of the change.
If I enter old bank account information and receive a Notice of change message, will my payment still be processed or will I have to edit the bank information that I entered?
The payment will still process. The notification is a reminder to start using the new information that was provided by your financial institution.
Am I required to enter the security code (CVV) associated with the credit card?
You must enter a CVV code for MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. American Express CVV codes are not required.
