What is a Money Network™ Card?
The Money Network™ card is a debit card, issued by MetaBank™, that a person can use to access money from his paycheck. When a person has this card, his employer adds the money he would normally receive in a paycheck to the card, based on the employee’s scheduled pay date.
The employee then has instant access to his money via ATM withdrawals and debit card transactions. The employee can even write a pre-authorized check and cash it to get the money he needs. This card is provided as a convenient way for employees to access their pay.
When a person wants a Money Network™ card, there is typically no need for him to be concerned about his credit history. A person doesn’t acquire this card based on his credit score. Instead, to be eligible for this card, a person has to be an employee of a company that offers it as a method of payroll distribution. This means a person can get this type of card even if he has been denied a credit card or turned down for a debit card through another company.
An individual can typically use his Money Network™ card at an automated teller machine (ATM). He is not limited to using an ATM at a particular bank or in a specific city, however. In most cases, he can use any ATM to access his money. Additionally, a person can usually make use of his card anywhere debit cards are accepted. He may even use it to make purchases or pay bills online.
Using Your Money Network Card Account
You can use your Money Network Card securely and without a fee to make purchases anywhere Visa Debit Cards are accepted — in stores, online or over the phone. You can also use your Money Network Card to pay bills, get cash back with a PIN debit purchase (where available), and get cash from in-network ATMs nationwide that carry the AllPoint brand.
To find surcharge-free in-network ATMs, use their Locator found in the Money Network Mobile App or online at account.moneynetwork.com. There’s no fee to withdraw cash at in-network ATMs that carry the AllPoint brand, but fees may apply if you use an out-of-network ATM. To get cash, simply:
- Enter your 4-digit PIN
- Select “Withdrawal” from “Checking
However, you can also use your Card to make purchases if the merchant’s website accepts Visa Debit Card payments. You will need to enter your Money Network Card information: 16-digit card number, expiration date and 3-digit code from the Card back.
Make sure you have used the correct billing address associated with your Card Account. To review or change your billing address, log in to your Card Account using the Money Network Mobile App and click My Settings or log in online at account.moneynetwork.com and click on My Profile.
How To Set Up Your Money Network Card Online Account
To use the Money Network Login portal, you must create an online account, including a username and password, which you will use to log in to the system. The process of creating a new account on the Money Network Login portal is very easy. To complete the validation process, you will need the following information:
- Your card Number
- Your Card Expiration Date (MMYY)
Step 1: Navigate to https://account.moneynetwork.com/prepaidgpr/prepaid.gft?reqType=prepaid. The Money Network login screen displays.
Step 2: From the Money Network Login screen, click the “» First Time Users” link. The Register for Online Access screen displays.
Step 3: In the 16 or 19 Digit Card Number field, Please enter your Money Network Account information and click on “Enter”. You will be prompted for additional information in order to setup your User ID and password.

If you already have a Money Network card online account, you may access it at any time. It’s simple to log in to your online account, and you’ll need your login information. You may also use your account to manage your payments, load your card, deposit checks, get frequently asked questions answered right from your mobile device. To log into your online account, follow these simple steps:

How To Activate Your Money Network Card
Download the Money Network Mobile App on Google Play or the App Store and select ‘New User?’, or call 1.866.387.5146 and follow the prompts. During activation, you could be asked to further validate your identity by providing, at minimum, your name and address or answer identity verification questions.
You will also be asked to create a 4-digit PIN required for ATM transactions and automated assistance and to hear your balance. For your Account security, do not use personal information as your PIN.
How To Protect Your Funds From Fraud
- Enroll in Account Alerts: Get alerted when deposits are posted, cash has been withdrawn, purchases have been made, and when your balance falls below a designated amount by enrolling in Account alerts on your Money Network® Mobile App.2
- Update Your Password: Change your password periodically, using a combination of letters, numbers and symbols that are different from your other online accounts.
- Lock Your Card: If you misplace your Card, you can lock your Card using the Money Network Mobile App or online at account.moneynetwork.com to disable outgoing Card transactions, providing additional peace of mind.
