How To Reset Your MyUI Login Password

To reset your MyUI+ password, go to MyUI Login page and click on forgotten password, enter your email address and check your mails for the password rest link.

Note: Some email providers, including but not limited to Yahoo and AOL, are experiencing significant delays in delivering emails from the MyUI+ system for password resets. Unfortunately, this is an email provider issue. If you have not received an expected email message, please check your spam folder over the next few hours.

They ask that you not submit multiple requests to reset your password and wait for your email notification, unless the email was not delivered before the code expired. If you received the email after the code expired, please request a new code. Because of the delays, we increased the amount of time the code is valid.

Filling a Claim

If you received $2,500 or more in wages on a W-2 from any employer where taxes were withheld since January 2019, you are likely eligible to file a claim for unemployment benefits.

Before you file a claim, gather your income-related information, such as pay stubs. Be prepared to provide information about work you have performed since January 2019, including the name and address of the business, dates you worked, and rate of pay. When you are ready to file a claim, go to MyUI+.

However, If you have filed a claim in the state of Colorado since 2015, you’re still considered a returning claimant. You will need to complete your registration using the email address you provided to the department.

Unable to File a Claim?

If you attempt to file a new claim in the MyUI+ application but the system advises you that there is already an account on file using your information, and you haven’t filed a claim within the past five years, a fraudster may have used your information to create a fraudulent claim for unemployment benefits.

If you are unable to file a new claim in MyUI+, please contact their customer support center at 303-318-9000 or toll-free at 1-800-388-5515.

How To Request Payment

You may request payment as early as the Sunday following the week that ended, and you have 14 days to request that week. If you do not request payment within those 14 days, your claim will close and you will have to reopen it. If you need help setting up your account in the new MyUI+ system, requesting weekly benefits, or for help with a program integrity issue on your claim, please call Department of Labor & Employment.

  • To request payment, log in to your MyUI+ account following the instructions above. Then you have two ways to request payment.
  • From the navigation links on the left side of the page, click on Request Benefit Payment and then click on Start Weekly Certification.
  • From your Home Page dashboard, scroll to Pending Weekly Certifications and then click on Start Weekly Certification.
