Nationwide 401k Login: How To Access Your Retirement Account

If you have not yet established a user ID and password should follow the steps below to register now for online access. An email address is required to access your account online; for your security, they provide electronic notifications via email when transactions are submitted on your account.
How To Register For User Online Account Access
For existing participants with Nationwide Retirement plan, follow the steps below to create a User ID and Password in order to gain access to your retirement account online.
To register for your online Nationwide 401k account, go to the Nationwide 401k Login page and click “Set Up Your Online Access.” You will be asked to select the type of account you have with Nationwide. Here are the different options you can select.
1: Personal/Individual insurance and financial products: Select this option to access your personal insurance or financial products online, including auto, home, life, annuities and retirement plans.
2: Commercial/Business insurance: Select this option to access your business insurance policy online. This option is only available if you’re the business owner or an employee who is authorized to manage insurance policies for your company.
3: Manager of a trust/estate/corporate asset: Select this option to access your personal insurance or financial products online, including auto, home, life, annuities and retirement plans AND the owner of the account is in the name of a trust, custodian, corporation or estate.
Select the first option and follow the instructions and you’ll be registered in a few simple steps. For future visits, you’ll only need your username and password to access your account.
Nationwide 401k Login Steps
If you already have a Nationwide Retirement online account or just set up for online account access then follow the steps below to access your account.
While logged in, you can also:
- View your fund balances.
- View your personalized rate of return.
- Change existing balances and make changes to how future contributions are invested.
- Update your address and other contact information.
- Download statements and much more.
From the Nationwide website, go to the Account Login section. Enter your username in the “Username” box then click the blue arrow. On the next page, enter your password in the “Password” box then click on the “Login” button. For security reasons you won’t be able to log in if you’ve entered your details incorrectly a number of times. You can unlock your account using a card reader, or change your login details by re-registering.
