How To Sign Up for NEFCUOnline
To Sign up for NEFCUOnline, Go to the nefcu.com homepage and click on “Sign Up” at the bottom of the NEFCUOnline login box. Simply complete the registration form and follow the online prompts to get started. If you are using the NEFCU Mobile App, this option is also available on the login screen.
How NEFCU Login and Security Procedure Works
NEFCUOnline uses an extra layer of security beyond the username and password to protect against fraud and identity theft. Access is only possible from devices that you have registered and linked to your accounts, or by using a one-time secure access code delivered to you via text, phone, email, or authenticator app.
You are in control of which computers and mobile devices are allowed to access your accounts, and no access is allowed without using either a registered device or a one-time secure access code.
In order to access NEFCUOnline from a public computer, including those in NEFCU branches, you will need to have a mobile device that is capable of receiving a one-time access code via text, automated voice call, email, or authenticator app.
In order to manage your New England Federal Credit Union online account you need to be logged into NEFCUOnline portal. Follow the instructions below to access your account.
First visit the New England Federal Credit Union online portal.
On the login portal, enter your Username and password and then click Login
How To Change Your Login and Security Phone Numbers
You can update your login and security options, including username, password and security contacts, by going to NEFCUOnline and clicking on “My Settings” in the upper right hand corner.
If you are using the NEFCU Mobile App, this information can be updated by clicking on More > Settings > My Settings.
How To Change Your Username
During the registration process, you will be prompted to create a username. After that, you can update or edit all your security settings, including username, password and security contacts, by going to NEFCUOnline and clicking on “My Settings” in the upper right hand corner. If you are using the NEFCU Mobile App, this information can be updated by clicking on More > Settings > My Settings.
All new usernames must meet the following criteria:
- must be between six and 60 characters long
- must contain one letter
- can contain letters, numbers and the following special characters: @$*_-=.!~
- cannot contain any white space (spaces are not allowed: including before, in the middle of, or after the username)
How To Reset Your Password
If you forget your password, you can reset it by using “Forgot Login.” This feature is available within the NEFCUOnline login box on www.nefcu.com and on the NEFCU Mobile App. Follow the online instructions to confirm your identity and reset your password.
