How QuickBooks Online Works
After you sign up for QuickBooks Online, you’ll be able to log in to your account and access the main dashboard view. If you’re moving to QuickBooks from another accounting software, you can import your existing files to your new account.
The main dashboard will give an overview of your QuickBooks account, showing your cash flow, invoices, expenses, sales and more.
Using the Banking (or Transactions) tab on the left side of the dashboard, you can connect your bank and credit card accounts so that QuickBooks automatically downloads and categorizes transactions for you. Later, when reconciling your books, you’ll be able to review these transactions in the For Review tab within the Banking menu.

Quick Books Online Login Steps
In order to manage your Quick Books account online, you have to log in to your online account. The Quick Books login process is very simple. You must have your username and password to access the Quick Books login portal.
If you are new to Quick Books online, then you have to register your Quick Books online account. Just by using a few basic details, you can easily register for the account. Those who don’t have their login credentials, have to create an online account first. If you already have your login credentials, then simply follow these simple instructions below to access your online account:
Step 1: Go to the Quick Books Online Login page: https://signin.quicken.com/signin
Step 2: Upon reaching the Quick Books Online login page, provide your Quicken ID (email address) and password in the blank spaces below and then press “Sign In”. If the particulars entered are correct you will also be taken to your account dashboard.
If you find that some of your accounts don’t appear on Quicken on the Web, be sure to check that these accounts have been selected to sync in your desktop product. Also, be sure that the correct data file has been selected to display in Quicken on the Web. You can do this by clicking the letter icon in the bottom left corner of the Quicken on the Web screen 
. Click See All Finances, then select the correct data file from the list.
If the accounts in question have been synced, and the correct data file has been selected, it’s possible that these account types have not yet been added to Quicken on the Web; currently, property and debt accounts do not sync from Quicken for Windows.
QuickBooks Online Mobile App, free iOS and Android App
QuickBooks Online Simple Start works best with the mobile app because all its features are available. Additional features offered in QuickBooks Online Essentials, Plus, and Advanced plans are only available on the web.
You can use your mobile device to enter transactions, record expenses, invoice customers, and send reports anywhere. QuickBooks automatically backs up your data to the cloud and syncs across all your devices.
When you manage your account from the web you’ll also get additional features. For example, you can match your receipts to incoming bank transactions on the web. When you use your mobile app, you can only snap photos of your receipts.
Download the iOS or Android mobile app, install on your phone or tablet, and sign in using your QuickBooks account details.
