What is Summit Credit Union?

Summit Credit Union, founded in 1935, is a credit union that was once based in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. In 2019 they moved their headquarters to nearby Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. since July 2021, it has 48 locations throughout the state. Summit has more than 217,000 members and $4.7 billion in assets, making it one of the largest credit unions in the state. Summit Credit Union is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration as a federally insured state-chartered credit union. It was officially chartered in 1935 and was assigned NCUA charter number 67190.

Summit Credit Union Login Steps

Logging in to a bank account isn’t mostly easy. As the bank mostly tries to make it secure. While it’s easy to log in to your Summit Credit Union account. It’s just that you’ll have to enter correct login details, which you must have after enrolling in Online Banking services.

Below are the steps that, if followed carefully, will take you to your account easily within minutes.

To log in to Online Banking, you will need to input your unique user ID and password. If you have not verified the device from which you are logging in, you may need to answer additional securit

If you forgot your online banking password, you can follow the simple steps below to get it reset:

  1. Select “Forgot your password?” from the Online Banking login screen Note: You will be asked to enter the primary account holders social security number.
  2. Enter the requested information and hit Continue.
  3. You will receive an email with reset instructions. This email will only be valid for 2 hours after you request a password reset.
  4. Enter your Online Branch ID and the security questions you set up during online enrollment.
  5. You will be able to update your password. 

If you know your current password and would like to change it, you may do so at any time by logging into online banking and going to the Settings tab.

If you do not have an Online Banking password, please contact them to get one set up! 

If you do not know your Online Banking ID (username), please contact them to get it reset!
