For mobile and online account access, you’ll need to complete a one-time enrollment process. To get started, gather your U.S. Bank card or account number and PIN along with your Social Security Number.   1. Select Create a username and password link located below the Log in button. 
  2. Identify what type of account you have. 

Personal (i.e., consumer) accounts:

  • Select the first radio button in this section to indicate you have a personal checking, savings, or money market account.
  • If you don’t have one of those, choose I have a different account. 

Business accounts:

  • Select the first radio button in this section to indicate you have a business checking, savings, or money market account. 
  • If you don’t have one of those, choose I have a different account. 
  • Choose I am an authorized officer or I am NOT an authorized officer, whichever applies. 
  1. Create your username and password.
    • Usernames must contain 7-22 characters, with no spaces or special characters.
    • Passwords must contain 8-24 characters and require at least one number and one letter.
  2. Enter your email address and select Continue to set up your ID Shield questions and image.
  3. Review our products and services page, then select Finish.

  • At the top right, hover over the Log In button to see drop down options. Click Online Banking.
  • In the Sign In page, enter your Personal ID and click Log In as indicated in the image below.
  • Then enter your password. If your login credentials are correct, you will be directed to your online account dashboard.

How To Retrieve a Forgotten Username or Password

To retrieve your User ID or password, just start as you would to log in:

  • Step 1- In the same Log In page, select the link that reads Forgot ID?
  • Step 2- You will be given the option to retrieve your forgotten ID or renew your password. Select accordingly. Click Continue.
  • Step 3- To renew password, enter your ID and and account number to verify your identity. Click Continue.
  • If your details are correct you will be able to renew your password to your liking and enter your online account.

How To Make Your US Bank Credit Card Payment

1: At the branch: Speak with a teller, by the branch closing time, on or before the due date.

3: Online/Mobile banking: Make your payment electronically by setting up autopay or making a one-time payment. Setting up autopay is easier than ever. When you’ve gone through the process, they’ll provide you a confirmation page to review. It’ll tell you when the first payment starts, how much is being paid, and what date it’ll be paid each month. They encourage you to review the terms of service before starting autopay. To get started, choose the experience that works best for you.

  1. Select Bill payments at the top of the page, then choose Pay bills & U.S. Bank accounts.
  2. Locate the account you want automatically paid, then select Show details.
  3. The details are shown on the right side of the page. Select Autopay set up now.
  4. Provide the following information, then select Start autopay. 
    • Amount: Choose how much to pay.
      Options include minimum payment, statement balance, minimum payment with extra, or other amount.
    • Date: Choose when you’d like the payment to be delivered.
      This is considered the day the payment is made, also known as the transaction date.
    • Account: Choose the account to pay from.
      If you’re paying from an external account, you’ll need to add it to your list of external payment accounts before setting up autopay.

  1. Select Pay bills & transfer at the bottom of the dashboard, then choose Pay a bill.
  2. Select the account you want automatically paid, then choose Autopay set up now on the next page.
  3. Provide the following information. Once done, select Start autopay.  
    • Amount: Choose how much to pay.
      Options include minimum payment, statement balance, minimum payment with extra, or other amount.
    • Date: Choose when you’d like the payment to be delivered.
      This is considered the day the payment is made, also known as the transaction date.
    • Account: Choose the account to pay from.

To make a one-time payment for your account, just follow these steps:

  1. Choose Bill payments, then Pay bills & U.S. Bank accounts from the main online banking page.
  2. Enter an amount, date, and select the account you’d like to pay from for up to 30 accounts. 
  3. At the bottom of the Pay screen the total amount and number of billers to be paid will be displayed.
  4. Select Review and Pay, then Pay now to schedule and confirm your payments.

  1. Select the Pay bills and transfer at the bottom of the account dashboard, then Pay a bill.
  2. Select the account you’d like to pay then select Make a payment. 
  3. The minimum payment will be displayed automatically. If you want to pay a different amount, select Pay this amount.
  4. Review payment date and the selected pay from account. Select those options if you’d like to make any changes. 
  5. Select Pay to complete your payment. 

4: Pay by phone: Call the phone number on the back of your card or call 800-285-8585. You can use their automated phone system to make your payment or speak to an agent to assist you.
